The next CD to be released on the Festival Music label is: Sean Filkins - War And Peace & Other Short Stories, due out April 11, 2011.

"Sean was a member of Big Big Train for 8 years and recently also sang guest vocals on two tracks from the Lee Abraham CD Black & White," goes the announcement. "The new release includes some excellent guest performances too!

"Whilst the CD is not released until April, we have just released the first track to be completed - the amazing 'The English Eccentric'. You can hear the track on the Festival Music player at www.f2music.co.uk.

"The debut solo CD from Sean Filkins is called War And Peace & Other Short Stories and was recorded at Lee Abraham's Dockside Studio. With great production, drums recorded and engineered by Karl Groom at Thin Ice Studios, where the CD was also mastered, the release includes six powerful and melodic tracks.

"The recording also includes a number of guest musicians including Gary Chandler (Jadis), Dave Meros (Spock's Beard), John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost, and others!), Lee Abraham, and many more."

Coming soon are both Credo's Against Reason, also due out April 11, and a live DVD & CD from Solstice, the releases of 5 Citizen Cane back catalogue titles to be followed by their new studio CD ...And The Skies Darkened later this year, with more "definitive edition" releases from Twelfth Night.
