Two years after their spectacular comeback album The Art Of Navigating By The Stars, Sieges Even's new baby will soon see the light of day: For May, the band from Munich has fully booked the studio to record the new album Paramount; it is due for the end of September. A headliner tour is already scheduled for October. Shows have been confirmed for Munich, Weiher, 'Progpower' festival in Baarlo (NL), Hamburg, Aschaffenburg, Stuttgart, Oberhausen, Uster by Z?rich (Switzerland), Vienna, Reichenbach and B?nde. Further gigs in October as well as a follow-up tour for December are in the making.



InsideOut Music offers on its website a new prize game and a new video stream: you can win Pure Reason Revolution fan bundles, and the new video features a "Making of ..." of the comeback album of former Dream Theater vocalist Charlie Dominci.

At the end of April, guitarist Daryl Stuermer releases his new album Go on InsideOut Music. Jazz rock experts appreciate Stuermer just like Genesis fans do, as this American is closely connected with Phil Collins et al. since 1980. Go features instrumental guitar sounds between Al Di Meola and Alan Holdsworth with distinctive hook lines, sweeping melodies, buoyant solo sections and a high level of entertainment. As from June, Daryl Stuermer joins Genesis on their reunion tour throughout Europe.

Groove rockers King's X have started recording their new album, which is due to be released in early sumer. Michael Wagener will again be producer, having already worked with the band on their previous album, Ogre Tones. After a planned autumn tour had to be cancelled in 2006, Dug Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill are going to present their new album live in Europe.

Stream Of Passion's shows in England on February 3rd and 4th had to be cancelled at short notice. The three Mexican band members - singers Marcela and Diana Bovio and keyboardist Alejandro Millan - had not been allowed to board the ferry in Calais/France. According to the band's website, British immigration feared they might have planned to illegally reside in England. The Classic Rock Society, who promoted the concerts, plans to re-arrange the gigs.

On their debut album Angular Perceptions American newcomers Thought Chamber convince the fans with new aspects of a technically brilliantly performed progressive metal. Vocalist of this band founded by guitarist Michael Harris is Ted Leonard, well-known to fans and critics as Enchant's front man.

"Night Of The Prog" with IQ and Pendragon: The organiser has kept his word: Having established itself in just one year, the open air festival "Night Of The Prog," which is held on the beautiful banks of river Rhine at St. Goarshausen, has gradually developed into a permanent event. The line-up for the second festival is confirmed, the presale of tickets has started. Asia, Fish, IQ, Jethro Tull, Pendragon and Sylvan, among others, will perform live on 21st and 22nd of July.

Ray Wilson and his band Stiltskin, who made a re-union last year, will release the album Live by the end of April. It offers an energetic mixture of old hits and new material taken fromt the latest studio album She.
