Total Time: 53:35:00

The one band I thought of while listening to Carl Carlton And The Songdogs time after time was The Rolling Stones. Their influence is so obvious to me. While you may hear references to Bob Seger and the like, the Stones factor becomes quite clear after a few songs play.

Conversely, the CD closes out with "Alive" and you may think of the Eagles because of the country influence in the track. This one particular song was a total departure from the entire recording as a majority of the album is blues based guitar rock that is emotive and electrifying.

I found this CD to be very entertaining and satisfying. Even though there is not any new ground covered?what they do, they do very well.
